Interview with Murad al-Katib, CEO, AGT

Recently, eFund invested in Lucent Biosciences, Inc.. Lucent's innovative technology (Soileos) allows plants to have a higher uptake of micronutrients. Micronutrients play a key role in growing plants to be bigger and more vigorous. They also provide much needed soil organic carbon. The global market for agricultural micronutrients is forecasted to grow at over 8% per annum, reaching an estimated value of $12.52 billion by  2025.

Lucent is finalizing its first licensing agreement with the global food producer AGT.  The following interview with the CEO of AGT, Murab Al-Katib highlights the future of agriculture and technology. We hope you enjoy it and find it as enlightening as we do.
